March: National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month

This month we are taking the time to celebrate and support individuals with cerebral palsy (CP)! Cerebral palsy refers to a group of neurological disorders that can affect mobility and muscle tone. There are more than 1 million people living with cerbral palsy in the United States and 10,000 babies are diagnosed every year (1). We are blessed at Reach for Speech to work alongside many children affected by cerebral palsy. These kids inspire us every day with their strength and hard work!

This month we are going to #GoGreen4CP, wearing the color green to help spread cerbral palsy awareness and to support the CP community. We encourage you to join us in wearing green and spreading awareness. We also encourage you to learn more about cerebral palsy by visiting The Cerebral Palsy Foundation at https://www.yourcpf.org .

Reach for Speech is proud to support all individuals with cerebral palsy and we will continue to be the therapy resource needed to help empower all individuals with CP.
