MA, CCC-SLP Speech-Language Pathologist – Owner
Debra received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and she received her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Pittsburgh. She spent several years working at a nationally ranked local pediatric hospital, and had the opportunity to be mentored by some of the greatest therapists in the region. Here, she was able to build a solid foundation of clinical skills in the areas of speech, language, swallowing, feeding/swallowing, voice, and cleft palate/cranio-facial disorders. Debra spent many years working with Master’s level students as a clinical supervisor through the University of Pittsburgh. Debra also worked as a speech pathologist in one of PA’s top 10 school districts, before providing Early Intervention services in Beaver County.
Debra’s passion to help children and fill the great need in her community is what drove her to found Reach for Speech in 2013. After initially providing speech therapy services independently, Debra soon expanded her practice to offer a variety of services in 3 locations in order to meet the greater needs of the community. Reach for Speech now has offices in Center Township, Moon Township, and Robinson Township, and provides speech, occupational and physical therapy as well as a number of specialty clinics.
