Bicep Curls

Purpose:

Builds upper body strength, muscle endurance, and coordination.

Directions:  

  • Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a light weight in each hand, palms facing forward, and arms resting at the sides. 

  • Keep the upper arms still, elbows tucked near the rib cage, and slowly bend the elbows to lift the weights up toward the shoulders. 

  • Slowly lower the weights back down 

Recommendations: 

  • Keep back straight  

  • Start with light weight and increase if needed 

  • You can use everyday items around the house like books or soup cans
